Lament to the Willow.

{Choir sings consistently in resonant tones throughout akin to weeping and wailing}

Poison fills our hearts
Tears burn our cheeks
Much that was
Is swallowed in fire.

Oh but for the pain!
I cannot move
For the world
Dies at our feet.

5 years of a red sky
And 15 in ashen shadow
Gone is the joy
Overrruled in grief.

Wherefore are we purposed
What shall become of us
Neh a light opens up
And we shall take it.

This is a lament often sung each year in commemoration of the Great Fire.

The End
