It seems that I fell asleep when I got to the nurse’s office and woke up to them staring at a mark on my body.
“O-Oh! Jun! You’re awake! Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you. I was just examining the tattoo on your chest, when did you get it done? It is in such fine detail.” I laughed and covered my chest up.
“Oh, that’s been there since I was a little kid, I’ve always had it. It just appeared one day, like a birth mark. No one’s said anything about it since I was little so I just didn’t think anything of it.” His face drained of all colour and he backed away from me.
“Oh, really?” I sighed as I buttoned my shirt up again.
“Yeah. Why? Does it have another meaning?” I asked the question but I knew what it meant, and I hoped he didn’t know that I knew that. He took a deep breath in.
“It’s the mark of the fae Jun, and a rather serious one. I would be worried if I were you.” I stood up and patted him on the head.
“Thank you for the warning, but I should be alright. Thank you for taking care of me, I should be heading to my next class.” Which, when I looked at the clock, was unfortunately the one with her teaching it. I gave a sigh and opened the door, strolling out of the room while rubbing my forehead. Wait? Had I grabbed my glasses? I rushed back into the room to find him fiddling with them. “Oh thank goodness you found them! Can I have them back please?” He gave me a weary look as he slowly inched them towards me before yanking them away and laughing.
