“Yeah, that’s true. There is a lake around these parts though, but don’t go with anyone who isn’t a local, it isn’t safe, you hear me Jun?” She asked me and there was weight in her tone. I nodded and she gave a smile. “Now, I’ll be your guide for today since you’re new so feel free to ask me any questions, okay?” Who the hell was this girl? I mean, she felt human, but she certainly didn’t behave like she was just that. Was it because of her parents? She turned and gave me a wide smile. “Smile Jun! It’s a gorgeous day!”
“Abby! What are you doing with that creep?” Some guy came barrelling down the hall and I turned my gaze down and tore my arm free from her grip.
“Wayne, this is Jun, not some creep! His Dad is Bruce Williams.” I felt his gaze on me and he snorted.
“Yeah, he looks nothing like ‘em so why waste your time? Spend more time with the real team Captain.” I felt his alpha aura emanate off of him and I just couldn’t resist. I turned my gaze towards him and his eyes widened. I chuckled. So he was a werewolf huh? He didn’t look all that powerful to me. I must have smirked or something because his eyes grew wide and shocked before he grew angry and I remembered where I was. He picked me up by the front of my shirt and threw me against the lockers to the right of us. “Why you little twerp! I’ll show you!” He pushed me against the lockers again and my glasses fell off but they didn’t shatter. They couldn’t. I started to laugh and he stepped back and I fell to the ground. I sat on the ground laughing darkly to myself before I threw my head back and laughed. I turned my gaze to him and although I couldn’t see his true form, he certainly felt the burn.
