As we got closer, everything seemed to get bigger. BIGGER. BIGGER. To me anyway. Everything was huge to me. Giants milled around everywhere. I looked down. Yes, thankfully, Kaida was still there.
Kaida. She was so beautiful. Well, in my eyes anyway. She was a King Charles Spaniel. Golden brown with little stubby legs. Her long silky ears flopped over her eyes. She bounded forward, sniffed then bounded back.
She was so loyal. always by my side, like a best friend. I was there too. Whenever she went to the vets, I was there.
Now, she trotted along in front of me looking back to check I was still following. Lovingly, loyally.
