She took a sharp breath, but never whined; instead silence ensued for a little while longer before she looked up, “Why? Why won’t you kill me?” She tried to be angry, tried to make it sound as though she hated him. But she didn’t. She couldn’t.

Lazarus growled and punched the wall, causing Melissa to snarl, she hobbled to her feet she stared at him. "Lazarus! If you can't do it, let Bane!"

His face contorted into something of anger and he shook his head silently. "Lazarus!" She screamed, before turning to Kito, "fine. You do something!"

He smiled slightly, "as your final wish, this is between you and Lazarus now."

"Then can you kill me?" She whispered back to Lazarus.

"Why d'you want me to kill you?" he snapped, his harsh tone making one of the pups begin to cry

"Because it seems my only option to get out of here and if it has to be someone, it has to be you."

"I don't care," he muttered, taking the wailing pup to comfort it, "you can go if you want. just pray that our paths never cross again."

"They will. That I promise you. I just hope next time, it will be more eventful."

"Get out of here," he whispered, turning away as tears began to burn his eyes

"Yeah. Good bye, Lazarus."

Meet the Cast:

Melissa: A warm-hearted Vampire who hates who she is. She is about 400 years old and loves classical music. She plays the violin and will only drink for dying/ill or a low-life. She has become more at peace with her powers and loves the new power that the shadow has bestowed upon her, the power of transformation. She is now wary of fighting, but is trying to overcome it as a new shadow is cast over her life, Albert and the coven.

Lazarus: An alcoholic, smoking Werewolf who has been alone almost all the 400 years of his immortal life. He also loves classical music and plays the piano. When seen you can never be sure about who you are talking to. Be him sober or be him drunk. He just wants to forget about his old boyfriend Gabriel and regrets killing Connor because he feels guilty for making Melissa run away with him. But now he is happy, living with her in the Parisian suburb, if it wasn't infested with people begging for their blood. He now fights with his inner wolf who killed his lover so long ago.

Bane: Lazarus' inner wolf, although still battling for acceptance with Lazarus he is well mannered and strong. However his thirst for destruction is often his down fall.

Albert: Melissa's love from when she was human, when they were found out Melissa's dad, Logan, had him sentenced to death and he was shot. But little did she know that he was actually alive and had been turned into a werewolf. He then spiked her blood bags, replacing it with his own so they shared a strong mind connection and he has followed her ever since. Now he is causing havoc with Lazarus and Melissa in Paris, which is a problem because he is also Beta of the local pack.

Darren: The coven-master of the Parisian coven. When Melissa went to ask to drink on his territory he fell in love with her, but little did he know she was taken. He is about one thousand, two hundred years old and was upset when her and Lazarus briskly retreated from his presence. He thinks however that Lazarus is Melissa's servant... not her husband.

Unnamed to be filled in later- Alpha of the pack.

The Hunter: His life was torn to pieces a few years ago by Lazarus, his wife and young son killed during a transformation. Ever since, he has been working to bring Lazarus and his kind down. Since then he has had numerous attempt to take down Lazarus, but one thing has always gotten in his way. Melissa. Now he is out for both of them and he will stop at nothing to get revenge, after all he now has nothing to lose.

Story: After Lazarus and Melissa became married Albert rose to his feet, once again ruining their moment. But will they ever escape him and will they ever get their happy ending that they wanted? Or will it all end up in tears when the coven and pack decide to finish the fight over the city of love.
