"I'm a strong swimmer see....and that means.....i....i...well Mrs.Jodie just happens to be my mother..making me Katie Jodie...and...she told me about you......when she screamed i jumped in....we sat down at the beach...your head was on my lap....she told me about your life at the orphanige...i thought it was horrid....she said she would take you back...i didn't let her..i ran off with you...in here...." Katie mumbled bursting into tears. "Wha....wait..i can live here with you, it would be perfect!" Laughed Luke.

"If the poilce weren't after me..yeah.."

"What!"

"She phoned the poilce on me.."

This same experience in the first chapter happned to me. I was about 5 and i was on a family holiday. My family weren't looking and i slipped into the deep end of a pool. I thought i was gone, until a strange lady saved me. Its the reason i'm still alive. I dedicate this book to her. Thank you for saving me.
