Train Tracks

The low rumble of the train interfered with my Ipod. I groaned as this was the only thing I had to accompany me to North Carolina. I got many strange looks and clutched my stomach making out I had an ache. Most of the women shot me sypathetic looks.

The train juddered to a halt and people bustled off, leaving me in a carridge with four people. A old man huddled round a news paper, a teeneager holding a pushchair and a kid under her arm, a middle aged woman holding cup-a-soup and a geeky boy with a memory stick round his neck, wearing an 'I love Nerds' tee. I mentally raised an eyebrow. The shock of the turn of my life exhausted me and I slowly drifted of into a dreamless sleep.

The End
