To my child,
Baby,
Exactly 10 minutes ago, I peed on a pregnancy test.
Exactly 7 minutes ago, it turned out positive.
Exactly 6 minutes ago, my life melted in front of my eyes.
I've been trying to collect myself ever since.
First off, a couple facts about your mum. I'm 17. Almost. I live in Tulsa, that's in Oklahoma. I'm a preacher's daughter. I've been with your dad for 2 years, and I was going to leave him soon. Now I'm not so sure.
We may have to get married.
Oh, Christ.
