This is basically a spin-off about my character Ash from the Protagonize Bus. I wouldn't read this first if you haven't read the Bus as it would be a total spoiler for you, but I can at least give you the basics here:

The character Ash (who narrates the story) is a Van Helsing, but vehemently hates the legacy he is supposed to continue. After various misadventures on the Bus (including a confrontation with a vampire, a massive arguement with a fellow hunter, befriending an ex-show rider and falling in love with his daughter, the half-faerie Morgan) Ash left the bus to confront the entity that his family have sent to hunt him down. The story starts with the arrival of said entity and the confrontation that follows:
