"Where the hell have you been?" Grace said, looking away from the T.V.

"I went to the plaque..." I said, realizing the note was on the ground.

"Why without us?"

"You guys were making up and crap," I said, "anyway, I found a note... but... it fell. Shit."

"What did it say?"

"About like... Adam giving up... and stuff. I don't know. Crap, crap, crap!"

"Shit," she whispered, "it's ok. I mean... what's the worst that can happen?"

I shrugged.

"Can we not talk about this now?" I asked.

I slipped into the covers, grabbing the only book I actually like to read over and over again, The Scarlet Letter. I groaned, turning on my bedside lamp.

"You ok?" Grace asked.

"Yup," I mumbled.

"Fine," she said, "want popcorn?"

"I already brushed, thanks," I said.

"Why are you so bitchy?"

I looked at her, pouting.

"I'm just tired," I said.

"Ok," she said, obviously not believing me.

She continued to flip through the channels.

"Grace," I said, "can you come up here for a second?"

She groaned, climbing up the ladder.

"Dexter... he tried to have sex with me... I was in his room because I was... bored or something. Anyway, he made a sex tape of me and Jacob and... I have the flashdrive with me... but, don't tell anyone ok? Especially Stacey... and I'm pissed right now. Jacob and I are just friends and I'm super confused right now, ok?"

She nodded, hugging me, knowing that words wouldn't do anything.

"Breakfast at Tiffany's?" she asked, knowing my favorite make-me-feel-better-movie.

I nodded, closing my book. She jumped off the bed and placed the DVD in. I sighed, hoping that Stacey would understand like this... if I ever told her.

I moaned, getting out of bed, sluggishly. I saw that everyone was still sleeping, as usual. I walked to the bathroom, brushing my teeth and washing my face. I stared at myself. There were dark rims around my eyes. I sighed. I leaned in close, feeling like someone was behind. But, wouldn't I see? I mean, it was a mirror. I leaned in closer. I jumped back. Julia's face was staring straight at me. Her long black hair, fair skin, and dark eyes were clearly visible. I blinked and her face was gone. I shook my head, knowing I had been hallucinating. Shit, but it seemed so real. I groaned, splashing cold water into my eyes. I walked out of the bathroom, suddenly seeing every girl in the building gathered together. Some of them were crying, some were quietly praying, some were sniffling.

"What happened?" I whispered, asking Anne Marie.

"They found her body," she mumbled, "Julia's really dead."

She nodded. The teachers were trying to calm everyone down. I heard police sirens, fading away in the distance. And I saw Mr. Parker come in from the elevator with Mrs. Vanderbrook.

The End
