Keira- "Got cha"mature
Keira "Got cha"
Part15
"Hey Keira wake up, Keira." Jamie's voice was close to me, his hands lightly shaking my shoulders. I blink trying to focus, my head hurt real bad. That was defiantly new; being inside Jamie's head in his dream like what was that? I didn't even use compulsion on him, it just happened.
"I'm fine Jamie." I told him sitting up and leaning against the chair, he sat next to me not taking his eyes off me.
"Are you sure? What did you do, what happened? He questioned.
"I somehow ended up in your head, seeing the dream that you just had. The one with Samantha." I added lightly on the end. He looked away, looking at the window the early morning sun was up now.
"O' ok. How did you do that?" He wasn't looking at me his face blank.
"I don't know. Jamie, do you have any idea who it was that shouted your name at the end? Also the other voices?" I asked. He got to his feet turned to face me and said. "Look I have nothing ok. It was just a dream; I probably need to feed or something. You're the only one with the strange dream things. You're the powerful one here." He joked at the end but there seemed to be something more to it. Jamie left the attic leaving me to ponder over everything.
It was strange. Jamie having a dream like that. It was like my dreams or whatever they were. I sighed getting up, looking around the attic, then going down the stairs and locking the door using the key under the floorboards. I felt drained whatever I did took it out of me. My bed looked far too inviting, but I couldn't bring myself to lie down a fall asleep and fall back into that nightmare. I got changed and went downstairs skipping breakfast. Everyone was asleep the house was soo quite and peaceful. But I needed to get out wake my sleepy eyes.
It was a beautiful morning, the sun lit up the woods awakening the creatures that lived here. I could smell the rich earthy soil; hear the leaves in the trees moving to the light breeze.
My ears suddenly heard faint sound of someone approaching. I couldn't catch the scent yet, so I couldn't work out if it was a threat. I could sense that they were behind me, as I turned I couldn't see them.
"What?" I said out loud puzzled looking around. Then I finally caught the scent, just a little too late. He leapt on to my back knocking me to the ground; we rolled struggling to gain control. He was just too strong.
"Keira, we really need to work on your surprise attack." He commented.
"Alexander! What the hell are you doing?" Alexander had me pinned face down onto the ground.
"Erm well what does it look like?" I just knew without looking that he would be wearing his smug face.
"Just get off me." I snarled, I hated when he did this. It didn't help that he did this all the time. Alexander did eventually climb off me, he didn't help me, just walked off to go and lean against a tree. I scrambled getting up, feeling even more drained then earlier.
"You ok Keira?" He suddenly asked taking me by surprise.
"So now you ask me if I'm ok. After you jumped me and slammed me to the ground. Yer, yer I'm good." I told him dramatically.
"Fine. Look you shouldn't be getting ready for school?"
I sighed rolled my eyes at him and stomped away.
"O' very mature." He called after me. I stopped. Alexander came to a stop next to me. "What?"
"Nothing." I simply said.
"No what, I can see that these something going on in your head." His midnight blue eyes gaze over, making me shiver for a moment.
"I think I've found another power." I told him.
"Which is?"
"I don't really know how to describe it."
"Well how did you find it?"
"I went into Jamie's head. I didn't even know what was happening. We were talking about his dream that he had and somehow I ended up seeing it." I explained.
"That's pretty strong power, without knowing what you was doing. Hmm. I need to see Jake." Alexander walked off, that's when I had a mad idea. I crouched then sprung on his unpatented back. I was about an inch away when he suddenly spun round and grabbed me dragging me to the ground. Again.
"Got cha. Keira." He whispered close to my ear. His body pressed down, holding me in place. My back was covered in dirt, his breath warm on my face.
"Practice makes perfect right?" I said looking into those midnight blue eyes of his.
