Is the story really what the title suggests? Or is it a story of redemption, sacrafice, and true feeling? Probably not. It's just a love story. :)
You've heard it all before. Boy meets girl. Girl likes boy. Boy likes girl. Neither knows it. By the end of the book, they're kissing on the beach watching the sunset. Blah, blah, blah. Well isn't love just fine and dandy? No! It's not! I hate books that describe love like that. So unrealistic. Love is the most complicated, heartbreaking, warm feeling that you can ever experience. It's awful. One day you think love is heaven, the next you think it's hell. At least, that's how it goes for me. You wouldn't expect love to go like that for a girl like me. I mean, yeah! I got the looks. I'm a hott blonde with big breasts, so you'd think the boys would be lining up! And, yeah, they do. But that doesn't mean love is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
For instance, the first time I fell in love. I was sixteen---let's stop there. Most people make fun of me and say, "Wow you never found love until you were sixteen! Hahehahe!" Well, the people who say that are losers. Morons in fact. I actually fell in love. I didn't just see the star quarterback, and decide that he was the man I was going to marry. Because that doesn't happen! There is no such thing as love at first sight. When you think someone's cute, that's not love. Any girl or boy that thinks she or he has experienced love at first sight is either delusional, or stupid. Probably both! I actually fell in love. I was literally ready to get married with that guy. Yeah. Willing to spend the rest of my life with him. Now that's love, morons.
Forgive me, I'm just blabbering on and on and on and on. My name's Lacey, and I'm about to tell you my love story. But please, before you open up this book and begin shedding tears, which by the way is pathetic, remember that this story is my story. In other words, it's important, so shut your mouth and open your ears and eyes for once.
Now where was I?
Oh yeah, my story. Where to begin...
How about the beginning? Does that sound good?
Excellent. Let's get crackin'.
