By the time Isis had come back to the common room, it was five in the evening. She'd skipped lunch and was now dead tired to the point of fainting.
I should just get some sleep.
Then, heading to bed with a rumbling stomach, Isis fell on her bed with a grunt and the moment her head hit the pillow, she was asleep.
The alarm clock went off with a <bring> as usual as Isis got up lazily and turned it off. With a yawn she scampered off to get dressed and ready for breakfast. Walking towards the Great Hall alone and in a daze, she had no memory of yesterday's events. Neither did she when Albus, James and little Lily asked her.
"So how'd it go yesterday?"
"How'd what go yesterday?" Isis asked, biting into her piece of toast.
"The entrance test?"
Isis blinked stupidly at little Lily who looked up at her skeptically.
"Yeah Albus, I'm thinking along the same lines as you now. She's brain dead," James said with a grin. Albus rolled his eyes at him before turning back to Isis.
"She's probably just worn out, aren't you?"
"I had a rough day yesterday though I have no idea what happened. Just feeling a bit woozy."
"Signs of madness," James said with a chuckle. Lily now playfully punched him while Albus choked on the water he was drinking. Isis glared at James who was making a joke of her in the scenario she was in.
"Well she's still here so I'm thinking that's a good sign," Lily whispered silently while she sipped some orange juice from her goblet.
Finally, memories of yesterday flooded back into Isis' mind as she sighed.
"Alright, I finally remember."
"I think I'm going to faint from relief," James muttered. Albus cracked a grin at that while little Lily giggled.
"Ahaha, yeah, that's so funny James," Isis said sarcastically. "But unless you three want to know what happened, you guys better stop kidding around."
At once James composed his face of seriousness which didn't fit him at all since he is after all the joker.
"Okay, tell us."
So Isis did just that.
"Wait a minute, Flitwick actually said that McGonagall was going to be proud?" Lily gasped, agahst.
"Well, yeah, that's what I heard." Isis said with a shrug.
"That's the least of my concerns at the moment but what were you doing with that prick?" James growled, startling the others.
"Good morning Isis."
Isis turned around to smile back at Scorpius Malfoy who was grinning at her.
"Morning Scorp, sit down." She took hold of his arm and brought him to sit down on the long bench next to her.
"We don't need any scorpions here, Isis, tell him to bug off," James hissed.
"Whaat?" She said stupidly then blinked at the two of them, glancing from one stony face to the other cold one.
"I'm not welcome here, I might as well leave," Scorpius muttered as Isis dropped her hold on his hand. And before she could open her mouth to say anything, he was striding away from her towards the Slytherin table.
"What-just-happened?" She turned around to glare at James.
"He's a git. His father is Draco Malfoy. No one likes him."
"Well I do so will you please respect my feelings?" She argued back.
They glared at each other for what seemed like an endless period of time, before both, simultaneously, got up and left the table, not having ate much and leaving Albus and Lilly stunned at what just happened.
