Love. No one can really define love. For some it's life. For some it becomes death. For some it's happiness. For some it's sadness. For some it's the best thing that can happen to them. For some nothing worse could happen more than love. For some it's magic. For some it's an illusion. For some it's a miracle. It destroys some people, while it saves some people. It hurts, but also gives you the best feeling ever.
Everyone has their own meaning of love. For me, love isn't perfect. It isn't a fairytale or a storybook. It doesn't always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, impossible to love without. Love is work, but most of all, it is realizing that every hour, every minute, every second was worth it and you know why? Because you did it together.
When you truly care for someone, you don't look for faults. You don't look for answers. You don't look for mistakes. Instead, you fight the mistakes. You accept the faults and you overlook the excuses. The measure of love is when you love without measure. There are rare chances that you'll meet the person you love and who loves you in return. So once you have it, don't let it go. The chance may never come your way again. And the most important thing I learned throughout life is that you should never take someone you love for granted, even if their feelings for you don't change, people do get tired eventually.
The Bible quotes: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always preserves."
