"Good Morning sleeping beauty."
I groaned incoherently, retreating into the warm covers that I had somehow cocooned my body in. Five more minutes ...
My five extra minutes were not acknowledged. A hand pushed me lightly, making me grumble some more. Oh, go away, Sleeping time is now; I weakly slapped the hand away.
"Don't make me come in there." Internal grumbling. I reluctantly opened my eyes, expecting rays of sunlight - At home, I always awoke to see 'Mum' pulling back the curtains, persuading me to get my lazy behind out of bed. Instead, I saw a face. Hm, he looks familiar. Red hair, nice grin, I swear I can see a dimple in there.
"Aw Luke, leave me alone." Would sleeping by myself really have been such a bad idea afterall? I turned around, fluffed up the pillow and curled into a ball.. No way am I getting up.
"Pfft, My room, My rules. Get the hell outta my bed." Luke gripped onto the duvet and pulled it off me, my hands clinging to my sanctuary. Obviously, he won. And now i'm cold, Goddammit.
"Luke, please, I'm freezing my butt off!" Luke cocked his head to one side, evaluating. Then he smiled - that genuine smile once again - and returned the covers.
"Five minutes and then we go downstairs. Now shift over." He dived onto the mattress and crawled his way underneath, myself being too shattered to find anything wrong with this. He rested his head on my shoulder and his arms were suspiciously lingering at my waist.
"No touching, wiseguy." I half-heartedly nudged him with my foot that wasn't dangling outside the covers at an odd angle.
"You love it really." He cheekily grinned, lightly squeezing my hips.
"And to think I thought you were a decent man. Off!" I tried sitting up but Luke pulled me back down with ease. I tried again and again but each time resulted in me flopping down into Luke's embrace.
"Ugh, you are so annoying!" He was laughing, hugging me to his chest. Struggling, I glared at him but he didn't even flinch. Stupid Vampire. Ah, just wait - maybe my extra ability will turn out to be laser beams shooting out of my eyes. On the Menu Today, Fried Luke.
"You have such an odd imagination."
"It's not odd, it's practical! Offfff!" I complained, rolling back and forth, attempting to shake him off. His muscles just tightened, teasingly, around me but I still kept doing it. That was until gravity said Wakey Wakey. Before I knew it, we both tumbled off of the bed, hitting the floor with a loud thump. Ow. Everything went dark as the duvet covers followed us.
"Now look what you did!" I felt for the corners of the blankets, to escape, to no avail. Luke seemed to find the whole situation rather amusing. While I was fumbling around, he was simply sat there, which extremly irritated me. Get up and help you idiot, I mentally shot at him. He knows that I know that he can hear me - yet he still sat there. More grumbling from my part.
Eventually, I found the edge and scrambled my way out. I turned to Luke once more - and burst out in giggles. His hair was stuck up and pointing in little random directions; He laughed along with me, ruffling my head so that it matched his own Mop.
A small inconspicuous cough interrupted - To my shock, Damien was standing at the door, a perplexed expression on his face. Awkward.
Silence from the three of us - Colour flooding my cheeks. Damien sighed.
"Ya know what, I'm not even gonna ask."
