He scowled when he heard the not so pleasant and raspy sound of her voice. "Oh my love...that doesn't sound good." It probably wasn't the best thing for her to hear from him at the moment, but he still felt as though it had to be said. He would have to tell her anyway. Shining the light into her mouth, he pressed the tongue depressor to her palette and peered down her throat. "Again, one more big 'Ahh...'"
For the sake of preserving her precious little lungs, he hoped the problem wasn't stemming from there. Otherwise, she might need that oxygen mask for more serious reasons than simply for play.
