Scarletta nodded. "Can I have a hot chocolate too, please?" she asked, voice soft and quiet as she looked over to him. She knew that inwardly, he could tell that she was a little bit upset, and the fact that he scowled everytime he looked at her made her even more worried. She felt like she had upset him somehow, and the thought made her tighten her fists around her purse, the squeezing helping to calm her down.
She knew that she would feel better in her little room. She'd specially designed it to soothe her, but the nerves and sadness and the twinges of self-loathing she had would reemerge the second she came back out. Hyde deserved a better Sub than she was, someone who could match him better, and who wouldn't upset him.
