I'm determined to prove them wrong. To show them I haven't been wasting my time. To disarm their snide remarks and soar.

To make them feel silly for ever doubting me, for telling me I can't and tying me down. For all those who have been denied their dream by someone blocking their path,  tormenting and chipping away at their ambitions until not even a sole spark is left.

I'm determined not to be like that, to cut that rope and break my chains. To shelter my embers from the harsh winds and keep my flame alight. To never let anyone drop their torch and lose their hope.
