Some primary school girls and their friendship - with a mystery which you'll probably figure out before you've read half of it. I wrote this several years ago, okay.
If you want to read, I'll warn you that it does jump about a bit through the years pertaining to the mystery, and also the dialogue may not be as lively as it could be. Nevertheless, I suppose I'm proud of this 'novelette'.

A pretty girl with starry blue eyes and long curling lashes ran through the bushes. Though she took little care, even her dark hair was calm and unruffled when she reached the clearing. She whistled a few bars, and stooped to pick up something that lay on the ground glinting in the August sunlight. She smiled. She had found a way.
