Chapter 6Mature

We got there at 10 in the morning and we decided we would just walk around and hang out. We did some sightseeing and then we went to an Italian restaurant nearby. We then went back to the ski resort and got there at eleven at night. We hung out in Heather's room and watched some movie that was coming on.

At twelve, Mickey and I walked to our room. As I took my boots off, Mickey looked at me. I raised my eyebrows.

He just shook his head smiling.

"What?" I said again. I took my cardigan off and tossed it onto my bed. I plopped onto his bed.

"What?" I said for the last time, my eybrows coming together, as my lips a grumpy face.

"I was just wondering..." he said. But then he shook his head and kissed me. I totally forgot about what we were talking about. Okay, I didn't. But I liked the way he smiled when I looked dazed.

I went to the bathroom with my pajama pants. I already had a tank top underneath my shirt. I took off my jeans and socks as well as my t-shirt. I washed my face, so that my make-up came off and I dried my face. My eyes still had smudges around them, but I liked the way it looked. I put chapstick on and tied my hair up, tighter this time. I walked to the room. Mickey was in his gray shirt that he wore under his polo. He had obviously rolled up his sleeves. It was a v-neck and it was loose on him. He wore the same pants that he wore yesterday night. He was already in his covers, his Nintendo in his hand. Playing Sims. Believe me, I didn't want to know what he made the characters look like.

He was a video game freak, but occasionally, his inner nerd unleashed. The other girls in the school, who practically stared at him every minute they could, didn't know the real him. Amber didn't even know him like this. Mickey had multiple personalities, let's say. With me, he's the cool, sweet, a bit nerdy, funny guy. With others, just the cool guy.

I realized I was staring him and I was leaning against the bathroom doorway. He was just playing his Nintendo, and texting Jordan time to time. I smiled at him, when he caught me. I plopped onto my bed. We decided we would sleep separately, only because Mickey was gonna play all night and I was really sleepy and he wasn't. Okay... we didn't want to give into "temptaion". I smiled as I took out my contacts and put my glasses on. I didn't look that bad. Only my family and Mickey had seen me like this.

I took a book that I had packed and read a chapter then I put my glasses on the table between the bed. Mickey kissed my forehead before I went to sleep. He still played. I didn't know when he stopped, because as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was sound asleep.

The End
