If I were a lonely oven

If I were a lonely oven
abandoned in a kitchen full of dust
Inside me, baking... nothin
Nothin but a pan full of rust

What I'd do, there's really no tellin
But I'd like to turn on and start heatin
Til the dudes in the house started smellin
my burnin, while they're on the couch eatin

They'd put down their microwave dinners
and start sniffin' around for the source
They'd find me and examine my inners
Turn me off, and forget it, of course.

But I'd do it again every evening,
and they'd get so annoyed at my riffraff
I don't know if they'd start cooking anything...
But at least I would get a good laugh.
