The soft platter of the rain against my window didn’t break my concentration throughout the night as I worked on my paper. Too committed to the task, nothing could distract me, not even the sound of Jensen tickling and playing with Adam who would not stop laughing and making adorable goo-goo sounds at my boyfriend.
Just as I closed my laptop screen, Jensen knocked on my room door and peeked in through the crack.
“You okay in there?”
I gave him a thumbs-up. “Finished about 75% of the things I needed to do. Thank you so much.” Standing up, I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. “You are the perfect boyfriend; except for when you pick your nose.”

Something about my voice convinced Jensen who looked like he didn’t need asking twice. He hopped under the covers with me. Sighing, I snuggled my face up against the crook of his neck, breathing in the scent of him.
“It’s nice to just spend time with you, minus being surrounded by our family constantly.”
He hummed in agreement, resting his chin on the top of my head, one arm going around my waist to hold me close.
“Look on the positive side Roxie, our parents are practically best buds. And our families are making loads of money, and soon, you’ll take over your father’s share of the business. Isn’t that what you want to do?”
“Yeah.” Playing with his shirt, I pinched him on the chest and murmured in my cute voice,“There’s something else I want to do more though.”
He didn’t have to look at me for me to know he was smiling but when his gaze met mine, it was all but holding back exactly how much he wanted it too. I’d been aching for just one bloody kiss all this time, and now that he was finally here...
