Chapter Five

"Is that your house?" asked Clarity.  They walked through the field of white dahlias.  The flowers were plump and velvety that Clarity could not help but touch them and everytime she did they would blacken and dry up.  They dried with a crunch, then transformed to dust.

"Yes it is" said the the Time Turner without noticing Clarity turning his flowers into dust.

"I hope you're enjoying the game so far." muttered the Time Turner "Don't give up when it gets nasty."

Clarity glanced at him but he was glaring at the moon.  "What are you talking about?" she asked as they apprached the tiny house.

But the Time Turner wasn't listening.  He turned pale as he realised half the field was in ashes.  "Those flowers" he whispered, "what have you done to my flowers?!"

Now it was Clarity's turn not to listen.  She was distracted by the sight of seeing three white rabbits which had hopped out of the bushes unexpectedly.  Clarity was now standing at the doorstep of the little shiny red house.  As she stepped in she wondered "what would happen to those bunnies if i touched them?"
