I am ....

SPRING

young dewy eyed and innocent

misty sunrise

twisted leafless trees are bent

towards me

i draw buds

light green life

from within

opening fresh and new

purple crocus

blue bell

snow drop

daffo dil

bloom

and make me smile

until

young lovers

in their clumsy

self absorbed

embrace

tumble on the woodland floor

and trace

a path

that crushes

under tangled limbs

my flowers
