"Ouch!" I exclaimed. My bag had spilled it's contents all over the floor. Grumbling to myself, I began to pick up my things from the floor. Then, I realized that it wasn't just my stuff on the ground. Slowly, I looked up.
The girl was extraordinarily beautiful. Words could not describe how beautiful she was. Every feature was perfect. Her skin was pale and flawless. She was thin, and lean. Her blonde hair was long and it looked silver in the dim lighting. "I'm sorry," she said. Wow. Her voice was perfect, too.
"No, I'm sorry," I replied. "I should've watched where I was going." We both stood up and looked at eachother. "I'm Cassandra," I told her.
"Star!" A third voice joined us. The new girl and Star looked similar, yet different. This girl was pale like Star but had long brunette hair.
"Elizabeth," Star said, no surprise in her voice.
"Come on, the others are waiting," Elizabeth said.
"Cassandra," Star said, turning to me. "I'll see you around." She grabbed my hand.
I noticed Elizabeth. She looked away, embarrassed that she hadn't acknowledged me. "Star," she said. She turned around and left.
"Was she your sister?" I asked Star.
"Sort of," she said. "In a way."
I gave her a questioning look. "It's a long story. I have a feeling you'll get to hear it. Few do."
"I'd like that." She smilied. As if I'd said the punch line to an inside joke. She followed Elizabeth, with such grace. They were simply too perfect to be human.

"Who are they?" I asked. My new friends - Es, Grace and Jon - looked at whereI indicated.
"The Sabren's," Es answerd. "The blonde girl, that's Star. The curly head brunette is Zoela, the other brunette girl is Elizabeth. The black haired man is Brandon. The blonde guy is Jason, the dark haired one is Tristan, and the light haried boy is Joel."
"William and Annissa adopted them all," Grace added.
"Interesting," I said.
Joel looked up and for a brief moment, we looked into eachother's eyes. I looked away, thinking to myself, Wow, that was cheesy.

I walked into my next class and stopped.
Joel Sabren was sitting not ten feet from me. The only open seat was next to him. Sighing, I went to sit down. And of course, tripped over my own feet. Joel bent down to help me retreive my things. For a moment, our hands met and neither of us pulled away. A cool feeling began to spread from my hand. I gazed up into his eyes. His gorgeous, silver eyes.
