Breathe In, Fly Out

She’ll be just fine…
NO. Can’t you see what’s happening?

Lina kept trying to make sense of these voices, but in then end, she decided it was impossible. She felt so alone in the dark, and for some reason, she couldn’t come to convince herself of what any normal person would. She wanted to just pretend that it was all a dream, but she knew she couldn’t.

She knew this was real. The darkness was too suffocating and the aching she felt was too real. Right now, she wanted more than anything to know.

Adelina wanted to know who she was. She wanted to remember…

You will do as I say. Just shut up, and don’t move. If I hear one…

The harshness of this voice startled her. It sent shivers down her spine, and soon, she felt herself trembling. Someting inside her, probably her heart, started pounding so loudly, she was sure it was going to burst any second. All she could feel was scared.

She had to get away somehow, but there was no escaping the memories now…

The End
