Get up on stage and work a duet with the karaoke'er.

The current song ended just as Anaina made to walk up on stage. Fortunately, the woman with the feather boa stayed up there and proceeded to sing another Sinatra song. This one Anaina knew even better than the previous.

"Mind if I join you?" Anaina asked as the woman looked at her in surprise. The woman paused then nodded with a smile.

And so Anaina and the other woman sang while offstage people cheered, sang along, or nodded their heads to the music. When the song ended, a round of clapping followed as the two women stepped offstage.

Looking her over, Anaina saw that the woman must be in her early twenties, probably just a few years older than Anaina herself.
