..., and the back windshield smashed, but it was inaccessible due to the pushed in roof at the back of the vehicle.

The woman who had begun trying to open the door for the trapped person, so they could get out of the car, finally succeeded in pulling the damned thing open. The woman had no time to regret her choice; the man in the smashed vehicle lunged at her, tearing her throat out almost immediately. Lia screamed as the blood gushed out of the wound, and the large chunk of skin in the man’s mouth was gleaming, and red. She grabbed Viktors arm, ran toward the kitchens, screams of terror, and gurgled cries ringing out from behind them. They kept to the back alleys as much as they could, seeing only terror and destruction on the streets.

What on Earth was going on?

Author Guidance for this Story

DragonDionysus There are two distinct branches to Hollow like your Soul to start with: Viktor & Lia, and Carnage in the Streets. as it progresses, other characters can have their names put into branches, but for now, lets keep the Viktor & Lia branch down a single line, and the Carnage in the Streets branch in a single line, or else let me know if you want to add a sub-branch. I want to keep this manageable, please.

Your installment of my story should be between 500 and 2000 words. No one can write an "ending," as in ending the story completely. The series is eternally ongoing.

There are the "rules" as to what MUST happen in each installment. This is where it gets interesting. The rules are based on the plot of the storyline. An installment must follow all 5 rules for it to be considered a legitimate installment.

There are 2 types of rules - Mandatory rules & Optional rules (M’s and O’s). The Mandatory rules are these...

1)A new person must be introduced in each installment.

2)A person (not the new person) must either die or be killed in the installment for that branch.

3)All of the characters of that branch must be in the same general location in the installment.

4)The location (not necessarily the general location) of all the characters, unless that character is being killed or introduced, must change in each installment.

Those 4 rules MUST be followed for each installment. However, the writer has a choice as to what will be the fifth rule. They can choose any one of these rules to be the fifth rule that they need to follow to write their installment.

A.There is an explosion.

B.There is a conversation between the hero & a(the) badguy OR an innocent.

C.There is no electricity, wherever they are.

D.A character or characters run out of ammunition.

E.Someone turns into a Zombie right in front of the “main” characters.

F.Something in relation to animals/nature/plants happens that no one saw coming.

There must be all four M’s and at least one O in your installment. The plot is a simple take-off of zombie movies - zombies in an industrial, metropolitan jungle besiege a group of strangers. Also, before killing a “main” character you did not create, please ask everyone involved if they think is a good idea, and give the creator some idea of what you have in mind for their creation.

If you have any other questions, comments, concerns or opinions, please feel free to contact me. I work full time, but I'm online every day.
