Her Name Is Earth
Earth stretched on her back over the operating table, awaiting her surgery, this was it, her final chance of survival. The room lit up with the high intensity of florescent lights, the rattling ring of the metal surgical instruments being placed on tables, the hustle bustle of nurses doctors surgeons all hovering around in preparation.Unconscious, knocked out by a rather potent sedative that the doctors had injected her with, unaware or her surroundings any more. She slipped into a calm drug induced coma where her subconscious was at play to recall the memory's of her distant past. There were the loveliest of times prior to those that left her to the mercy of the surgeons and their scalpels. The times filled with lush growth. Indulging a life of high society, civilized elites in all their elegance surrounded her like lovely flowers, treating her like queen, she spun around dancing among the stars in a perfect eloquent orbit on the ballrooms marble floors, she was famous.
Though as lovely as these people had seemed to her, there was lurking a hidden malevolent truth.Skulking, it tip toe its way around peeking out from the shadows and like an expert thief lunging out in an agile discreet fashion, pick pocketed all without them left with simplest notion of him doing so.Gree was his name and he left all who attended Earths party feeling as though they were missing something, and that empty feeling towards the other guests left anger and the arguments began."That's mine!" "No It's mine!" "I want that!" "You cant come here!" "You're not good enough" Came an assortment of angry lustful voices. The borders were raised and the divide began.
Earth had no control, her friends spiraled into disgust. She tried to bring them back together, with no avail.Their separation left earth feeling gloomy, falling into depression, the harder she tried to show the fallacy in their way,the more damage she felt.Less and less those around her praised her for her beauty only taking what they could for their own benefit,Eventually she lay hurt and silent consumed of her energy.Sitting on the sidelines, she observed as they spun out of control. She'd be seen glancing from her window, though every glimpse of their betrayal saddened her so she stopped looking.
Oyle was popular in all groups, but he stirred in trouble. His impulsiveness reeked havoc, and manipulative nature gave the innocent impression of a devoted, helping friend.Though his motives were messy, often seeking out his own sadist ambitions. He was another source of antagonistic gossip, splitting the group further and further apart .He moved from group to group, enjoying the ride but never loyal.
Then there was Eugene,he claimed to be the best.He only wanted to be surrounded with people of his kind.He carried on his shoulder a heavy head filled with pompous notions of grandeur. His sociopath ways were frightening to the others, even in all their arguments, they could come to agreement this. His plotting leaft a bad taste in everybodys mouth.Though passive, they left it to fate to sort things out.
So among these few and additional members in the game. Earth was headed for dark times. The thunder clouds loomed on the horizon. The atmosphere was tense and crowded and only just began to unfold.
