Dr. Kind watched the multiple screens in front of him, which displayed the various video feeds of the miniature cameras each P.R.O.J.E.C.T. agent pursuing Subject Zero had pinned onto their lapel.
Three of the agents had Subject Zero in sight. He had his wings folded in behind him as he zipped through the alleyways of the city streets at speeds clocking over 200 mph.
P.R.O.J.E.C.T. had enough field agents that there would be at least one wherever Subject Zero went. They would hound him, always hound him.
It hadn't been expected the Subject Zero would have broken out of the P.R.O.J.E.C.T. labs, but since he had, this would be a useful test of the limits of his stamina.
How long could he run? At what point would he start slowing down?
Still, it was a shame. Subject Zero had been compromised. Once his stamina had run out, the field agents had orders to terminate. The data from the stamina limits, as well as the autopsy, would prove useful for the genesplicing that would create Subject Two.
As for Subject One, she had just woken up after her successful genesplicing surgery. Perhaps they would have better luck with her than with Subject Zero...
