Okay, I can do this. Breathe deeply, in and out. I tried to calm myself with breathing. Already, I craved the stone that I'd left with Tony. It called to me, don't leave me Jordan! Don't leave me! I wished I could go back, but knew I couldn't. I owed it to Tony. I stuffed my hands into my jacket and continued walking. The sun was right in the middle of the sky, and it beat down on me. It wasn't too warm, considering it was March, but the sun added extra heat. I shed my jacket to reveal a plain black tanktop. I tied my jacket around my waist and pulled my hair back with a dirty hair scrunchie. Now the sun didn't seem so hot.
"AHHHHHHH!!!" I looked above me, trying to find where the screaming was coming from. It sounded close. I turned around just as something hit the sidewalk and let out a loud squeal.
"Ughhh," groaned the figure. I stared at it, mouth wide, before my brain kicked into action. Oh my God, it's a person! I ran over to them and kneeled beside them.
"Are you alright?" I had push my lips tightly together to keep from bursting out laughing.
"Uh . . . yeah, I think I'm okay," A little snicker escaped my lips.
"Where'd you come from?" I didn't realize until later that he was lying to me, I was too busy focusing on not laughing.
"I was climbing the tree! I, uh, thought I heard . . . a cat! Yeah, a cat,"
"Okay, do you need help up?" I had to bite my toungue now, the laughter was almost unbareable.
"Yes please," I pulled him up, harder then I expected and stumbled back. The surprise made me open my mouth and the laughter poured out. I looked at the guy and he was regarding me with a very peculiar look in his eyes. He started brushing the dirt off his clothes but stopped then looked up at me, realization dawning in his eyes. He looked back down at his clothes, then burst out laughing along with me.
I can truthfully say that I'd never seen anyone who dressed like him before. He was wearing a purple hat with a zebra stripe around the part where the dome meets the brim of the hat. He had on a baggy flannel shirt and bell-bottom jeans. To top it off were snake skin boots, with pointed toes. When I finally regained my composure, I spoke.
"I like your boots," I said, a little giggle at the end. "I'm Jordan."
"I'm Sam," he smiled at me and I found myself stumble backwards. He reached forwards to stop me from falling and electricity shot through my skin where he touched me.
"Ouch!" we exclaimed in unison. I looked into his endless blue eyes and he looked into my muddy brown ones. His hand still hadn't left my bare fore-arm, and his energy flowed through my skin. It took me alot of concentration, but I managed to move my arm so the connection was broken. Appareantly, that wasn't fast enough. As soon as I'd moved my arm, Sam jumped on me. Okay, maybe that's not right, but it was like he attacked me. He moved his hand down and put it around my waist at lightning fast speed, pulling me to him and crushing his lips down on mine. My hands automatically went up and I pushed at his chest. I only managed one push before my arms disobeyed my screaming brain and wrapped around his neck. Instead of fighting his lips, mine joined in with his, moving in unison.
Wait. Hold up. You met this guy, what, 2 minutes ago and you're practically making out with him already? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? My brain screamed at me, but I couldn't resist. He smelled so good, so pure, and he was so warm! Just as I was getting comfortable in his arms, he pulled away with a gasp. I felt sad at first, then realized what I'd just done.
