Haiku

Posts need to be 140 characters long, so a Haiku thread will not work unless you write an intro much as I am doing before you put down your Haiku.  

The Haiku was given its current name by the Japanese writer Masaoka Shiki at the end of 19th century.  The Japanese form in their written language is a one line vertical event, unlike the current form of it that we perform in English today, which is three lines: five syllables, then seven syllables, then five again.

I remember a skit where before and after their Haiku they would announce in their best warrior voice "Haiku!"

So without further ado... here is my...

Haiku!

Coffee in the Morning

Aroma Taste Sensation

Bad Breath afternoon

Haiku!
