"What does this have to do with saving all the gummy bears?" I asked.

After a minute it replied saying "Lots of humans eat gummy bears, we have to kill or enslave all of them. That way people can't eat the gummy bears. Now the gummy worms are our spies because they can go under ground unnoticed, then we will go by land or sea and strike the humans."

"What about my friends?" I asked.

"Oh dear." It said sighing. "Um, if you can convince them not to eat gummy bears we can save them, if not we will destroy them."

"Oh. How are you going to destroy a human?" I asked again.

"We eat them of course." It responded in an impatient tone of voice. "And the only way for us to die is to be eaten..."
