For one kiss,
Would I risk the whispers of my friends,
the disapproval of my neighbors?
Would I chance the confusion of my family,
the gnawing twinges of guilt?
Would I open Pandora's Box?
brave the loss of what we have
for what might be.

For one fumbling, searing, passionate kiss?
Maybe.

For one exploring the crevices of your soul,
never-want-to-let-go, Technicolor kiss?
Probably.

For one chance to soar beyond the Milky Way,
twirl through your cosmos,
meld with you, know you?
Yes
