Lexi felt herslef meet the ground. She struggled to get up, but someone was standing over her. "Who are you?" She choked out.
"Shhh, be quiet." A voice ordered. A pale hand reached out to her, and she took it without thinking. She saw a ring on his finger. His ring finger on his left hand. It was silver, with a blood red stone. On the stone was a black letter. V. She found it hard to breathe.
"Oh my God," She whispered, still staring at his ring. She managed to look up at his face. "What are you doing here? Why did you save me?"
The halls were dark, except for a few dim lights overhead. She'll be sleeping. He thought. "So you weren't in the mourge, so where are you now?" He wondered. Slipping sliently into the room, he noticed something he wasn't expecting.
The bed was empty.
He cursed silently and turned for the door. Just then, someone stumbled through it, with another person. The one man was on the verge of unconsciouness, but the other was fully awake. He immediately recognized his black hair and blue gray eyes. His pale skin only added to the fimilariaty. Along with the ring. Wait, the ring? Looking at the ring, he noticed that it was similar to the one on his finger. Looking at it some more, he noticed that it was the exact same ring on the exact same finger.
Glancing at the other man again, he noticed that he was the doctor. Her doctor. "Good evening," He said, and both their heads snapped up to stare at him. Fear was in one's eyes, and curiousity in the other's. "Tristan, Doctor."
Tristan stared at the man in shock. "Alaric,"
Alaric smiled. "Hello, brother."
