Gertie & Gus

It was a fine day down at the water gardens.  Gertie and Gus crossed over the busy main road for an adventure!

"Look" said Gus, the extraordinarily white goose, "there's a lovely green patch of grass by the bus station, lets go eat!"   Off he waddled with a  much smaller, shyer Gertie trailing behind.  "Hurry up Gertie" said Gus, "watch out for the traffic!" "Wait for me !" said Gertie who was always very nervous when Gus was off on an adventure.  She didn't want to be left behind though, so scurried after him oblivious to the traffic speeding along in the early morning rush hour.
