The Stranger

It had been a long day at the office, the tension building up in the office like the heat outside.

I needed a drink, god how I needed a drink, a long ice cold beer, so I headed to Jed's Bar on Main Street. There he stood 210lbs of pure perfection. His features could have been carved from stone and god did he smell good too, good enough to eat. That reminded me, I'd not eaten since breakfast so I added an order of steak and fries to my beer.

Mmmmm that smell reminded me of my childhood, the sweet smell of the earth after the rain. His silver earring glistening in the neon glow from the bar, I could feel the heat from his body as I sat at the bar alongside him. His skin the colour of latte, his eyes the deepest brown I'd ever seen, what was the matter with me I was behaving like a lovesick puppy. It had been so long since I'd had sex, way too long but Rick had hurt me real bad and I didn't want to risk that kind of heartache again and this handsome stranger had heartache written all over him in capital letters.

The End
