From the east

I watched the lone traveler from the bushes. He seemed to have stopped. Although there was no way to see if he was facing away with the setting sun directly behind him.

A lone silhouette with no way to defend himself. Rather like a lost sheep. I thought to myself.

If Ii waited any longer I would lose all the light. So I slowly crept out the bush to make sure I made no noise and raised my bow, knocking on an arrow.

Before I had managed to aim someone grabbed my left arm and pulled it down to my side while raising a knife to my throat.

"We wouldn't want you to do that now, would we?" A rough voice threatened in my ear.

The End
