Friends' Hill

Recommend
  • Create a friend. This friend will remain your character throughout the story.
  • Write a chapter. You can tell a story, reminisce, wonder what's coming next for your life, anything like that. Remember, though, this isn't dialogue.
  • There can be a few forms of dialogue however. For instance:

"Then I went fishing the next morning."

Why? I thought you hated fishing.

"I do, [name of friend who just spoke], I do, but I went because I was bored."

You can also respond to other friend's posts. So if someone wrote a post talking about how deep down they were always in love with [blank] and your character happened to be named [blank], then you can respond to that. If you choose to do that, title it as such: "[Character]: Response to [Friend's Name]"
  • If you aren't responding and are just changing the subject, title it as such: "[Character]:[Subject Matter/Title of Story]"
  •  Remember the premise: A few friends are sitting on the top of a hill, telling stories, reminiscing, and wondering what's coming up next in their lives.
