Dear Ethel

The following pages are excerpts from a journal that an old man wrote in tribute of his wife who is in the late stages of Alzheimer's. It may be confusing as I originally wrote to be set out in a journal - with pictures and extra bits of information written directly onto the page.

Dear Ethel

The following pages are a tribute to you - to pay homage to your spirit and your vivacity for life which this disease has robbed you of.  I wanted something tangible to capture this final stage of your life that you are often yourself unaware.

Just like our wedding vows, ‘til death do us part’, I will be here for you by your bed, holding your hand.

Just like my heart, my life is tied to yours and I will help you through these tough times ravaged by Alzheimer’s.

With all my heart, and love for you, my darling wife,

The End
