"Well hello, Akihiro," Mr. Nelson said, "you can sit in the back with Akari."
Akihiro shuffled to the back of the room, and sat down in his seat. I glanced over at him, and he shrunk in his seat.
Akihiro was wearing a zip-up cotton jacket, a plain white shirt, and loose fit jeans.
"Now that we have all settled," Mr. Nelson sighed, knowing that we had little time left in the class, "back to the lesson."

A few days passed, and every thing was just as it was before Akihiro came, I never really talked to him, except for when I needed help with homework, but then everything changed, in a way I never would have suspected.
I was walking silently in the hall, with the hood on my jacket up, so no one could see my face, when from behind me I heard someone shout: "Hey, Akai, wait up!"
I turned around surprised that any one would want to talk to me, and found Akihiro waving his hand in the air, as he ran to catch up to me.
"Why are you talking to me?" I asked, still in shock from the fact that someone was talking to me of their own free will.
"Well sorry for trying to be nice." Akihiro said in an offended tone.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that, its just that I don't usually have people come up to me to talk to me."
"Well I notice that you always walked by yourself in the halls, so I thought you might want someone to talk to."
"Wow, I've never had anybody be that nice to me, thanks." I commented.
To my surprise, I had a smile on my face. I actually had a smile on my face. It had been so long since I had last smiled.
