Imprisonment

The cell was eight feet wide. This, I found out by pacing and calculating. The only thing there is to do. No books. No TV and absolutly no cell mates.

Just a eight floor wide cell with bare, grey walls, surprisingly white floor, a small single bed in one cornor and a hole for the toilet in the other, next to a sink.

Left alone wih nothing but my thoughts, I begin to think how I got into this situation.

I lived in a poor neighbourhood. Father working twelve hours a day for barley any money. Eldest sister away all day in school. Me helping at home. My younger brother crying for the food and attention he can never recieve.

Like any other concerned eight year old, I turned to petty thievery. Not much. Just an apple here, a bannana there...

The End
