Defforeth woke when Railia threw water on his face.
"Come on," she ordered, forcefully.
Defforeth sat up and rubbed his face.
"Where?" he croaked.
Railia kneeled down, "Are you against the Elves?" she asked.
"Of course," he replied, uncertainly.
"Then you're coming with me. We need as many people as we can get."
Corrine had been trying to recruit people for weeks now. To begin with it was risky as anyone could turn her in when she asked them. As the weeks pressed on, things were getting worse so more and more people wanted the Elves gone and it was easier to get people to agree with her. Now she had twenty people. Some of them she had briefed to the plan but she was meeting some others tonight. It was too risky to meet all at once, especially as it was after curfew.
Railia informed Corrine that she had someone who would be joining them this evening and Corrine was intrigued as to who this mystery soldier would be.
