I snivel on the ground
The box my only cover
Before a world
That blow by blow
Fought to keep to
One's Own
No Community,
Security,
Responsibility. Or Barely.
Everyone says, "It's someone else's responsibility."
I-I dont know what's to Come
Whether
I will have to be here,
In Shower or Sleet,
With only Little to Keep,
And I stretch my hand to
shiny shoes that
tap-tap bye
And fail to get my life
And I fear
Whether I will even own my own box.
The box my only cover
Before a world
That blow by blow
Fought to keep to
One's Own
No Community,
Security,
Responsibility. Or Barely.
Everyone says, "It's someone else's responsibility."
I-I dont know what's to Come
Whether
I will have to be here,
In Shower or Sleet,
With only Little to Keep,
And I stretch my hand to
shiny shoes that
tap-tap bye
And fail to get my life
And I fear
Whether I will even own my own box.
