...g over the grated edge I see nothing, not unlike the life i lived no one to witness my greatest moments. Life stirs along the walkway, my courtyard a barren mass to paint spattered blood, they will know I was there and long past shoveled cover-up I will remain the memory to those passing through; A legend in my own right to be told by those who failed to realize in life but tell my story as if they knew me to passing residents. Jon the Jumper I will be called and my story will change from time to time a young man, an old man, a crazy man, alone, all the same DEAD.

They, the people who say the things we all take as the truth, they are the ones who say that there are five stages to my death they list them but I had no clue before i took my first step off that ledge how they would manifest, each window holds its own story first Denial, then Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and finally Acceptance. I am but their viewer they the story that must be told.

Author Guidance for this Story

I have always wanted to do a collaborative short story series in which we explore the five stages of death (DENIAL, ANGER, BARGAINING, DEPRESSION and ACCEPTANCE). It would be truly magic if we could have six very different voice all writing unrelated human life stories that reflect the stages Jon would see looking in the windows as he fell. (example: a house bound obese woman believes she is living inside her favorite soap-opera, would fit DENIAL)

POSTING GUIDELINES

First off, if you don't understand how this all works, please check out our help page.
It should answer most of your basic questions.

All authors are responsible for their own content. We don't write this stuff. You do. So feel free to use a little adult humour, but please don't go overboard, or we'll have to flag the story as mature content.
Second, if you're adding a branch to an existing story, make sure that the new branches you create are individually appealing. This makes it easier to keep the storyline alive and kicking.
If you're writing a collaborative story, try not to write more than one or two segments of the same story at a time. It keeps the story fresher and funnier if you let others play along. :)
Posts need to be at least 140 characters long. That's about three average sentences, not too painful, but it prevents spamminess.
Finally, try not to kill off the main character in a story... at least, permanently. It can be pretty detrimental to the storyline — it's also useless, as someone is bound to revive the character.
If you find a problem somewhere, or see a bad posting, click the red report button on a story or user profile and report it to us!
Note: Please be careful if you spent a long period of time writing the same branch. It's entirely possible that someone else is completing the same branch as you, and in that case, since we don't lock posts while you edit, whoever posts first will "win" and you'll have to move your post elsewhere.
