I mange to find my way out of the castle. I swear it didn't seem that big when I went in with Gloria. Then I realize I'm not at the place we came in, which means I'm lost.
“Where are you going?”
I jump at the voice behind me and turn to face Fancy Anne.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“It’s okay. But, um, how do I get back to the Hospital?”
“Easy.” Fancy Anne breezes past me and I follow her. She stops in front of the Hospital.
I scurry past Ash's room to get to mine. I don't know if he saw me or not. Not that it maters. I'm quite wide awake. After all I've been sleeping for, hours. Heck it could have even been days for all I knew. All the more reason to shower. So I do. I look at what I hastily threw into my suitcase. I must decide what to wear. A smile lights my face and I pull out my favorite skirt. I love the way it flows around my ankles. It’s also the one I was wearing in my dream.

Dressed I leave my room full of confidence only to freeze in Ash's doorway. I am suddenly shy again. I can't seem to look at his face, my eyes focusing instead on his bandages. His body is filled with pain though I feel him smile.
“You came back.” His voice seems to break the spell on me and I move into the room.
“I said I would.” My voice is quiet. I sit on the couch, legs drawn up under my skirt and clutched to my chest. I rest my chin on my knees, and try to force my self to look at his face. I wonder if I can sooth his pain.
