It was a pretty room, lit up by candles that were scattered all over the place. A stained glass window across the room showed that the sun was still rising steadily. In the middle of the room stood two beds, covered by blankets with tassles and golden leafs in the middle. On top of each bed sat a neatly folded nightgown, each a different color. One read Michaela, and one read Lexi.

"We might as well put these on..." Alexa said, handing one to Duncan.

Duncan let her shawl fall to the floor and slipped on the nightgown. After which, she turned around and watched Alexa do the same task. As she slid on the gown, she turned around to see Duncan's mouth open forming a gaping hole.

"What is it?" Alexa said slyly, "You like it that much?" She smirked at Duncan.

"No, I-I-I mean, yes, but..." she stuttered, "It's not that, but..."

"Spit it out." Alexa grinned.

"There's a tattoo on your back."

"The mirror, over there, look." Duncan said pointing at a jewel-encrusted mirror on the wall.

Alexa turned to the mirror. Sure enough, there it was, a swirling pattern on her back resembling a wave.

"See?" Duncan said.

"Take it off." Alexa said, pointing to Duncan's nightgown.

Duncan looked back at her wide-eyed. "Excuse me?"

"You heard me missy." She said, straight-faced.

Slowly and unsurely, Duncan proceeded to take off the nightgown in front of her. Alexa touched Duncan's back and outlined the markings with her fingers. She sighed leisurely and fell onto her bed. "Down the rabbit hole i guess." She said.

Duncan chuckled softly, "That's exactly what i was thinking earlier. Down the Rabbit Hole slash That Green Gentleman." She slipped back on the nightgown and pulled Alexa to her feet. "You know, there's a lot you're going to have to teach me about this." Duncan said.

"Yeah, but it'll be fun." Alexa said grinning. She looked into the mirror and gasped.

"What now?" Duncan said.

The End
