My dear Jessica,
I think it’s fabulous, so well done you, especially for getting it done in less time than we both expected. To be honest, I had my doubts at first, but now you have proven me wrong; this is a very descriptive and detailed portrait of a young girl’s troubled life. Complete with bullying, music and all those exciting sorts of things.
Though we both know that it’s about Ezme, isn’t it? To be honest, I’d never paid her much attention, but, from what I saw, she was quite the little actress… Albeit shy.
How’s she going with those French orals, by the way? Last time I heard (from the usual staff-room gossip) she was too scared and giving up French, just like you….
And no, in answer to your question, I won’t be coming back to PhoenixTail, I’ve managed to find a nice position as an English teacher, up in Lythm, not a Head of Department yet, unfortunately, but it’s nice to be nearer to… matters of my heart.
Ryan Beech tells me that you’re doing well in GCSE RS; he has great hope for you. Please make sure that the rest of your class are kind to him, he’s been under a lot of stress lately… Mostly caused by myself…
Anyway, I hope to see you again some day.
Again, well done for your little novel. You might want to know that I have sent it off to some publishers who I know.
Miss Rebecca Berry.
