Unable to claim a branch in the tree for himself - and not wanting to try climbing it either - Falcon decides to select a spot on the ground for himself. His feet still hurt, but it's not as bad as he thought it would be. However, exhaustion soon gets the better of him and soon he's fast asleep, looking as peaceful as anything. But his dreams were far from peaceful...
He's standing on a plain of some sort, completely barren and nothing else in view. It's cold and his breath shimmers before his eyes. Suddenly he hears something behind him and whips around to see Eternal standing before him. He gapes:
"Eternal! How did you... what are you doing in my dream?"
"I don't mean to be here." she says. Her voice is different, Falcon can hear it. Not greatly different, but it's not the voice he knows. It's unsettling.
"I'm losing my grip Falcon." Eternal continues. "My human form is fading, the darkness grows with every passing hour. I don't know how much longer I will last."
"Hang on," Falcon says. "Drake, Life and I are on our way to this Heal Cave thing, we can stop this before it goes any further. I won't let you turn."
Eternal shakes her head sadly, "I know you won't. But there isn't much time. Frost moves closer to Blaze every moment. A battle is coming, a great one that will shake the foundations of the world as we know it. The devil is at work here. Time is running out."
"How can I stop it!" Falcon cries, reaching his hand towards Eternal. "Eternal, helpe me!"
But she's already gone, fading away into the misty depths of dreams, leaving Falcon to cry his grief and frustration to the empty abyss of darkness.
