in the wild

in the wild was Dave, and he was quite alone

except for the ring, who continued to moan

"i cannot take much more of this"

and at that he disappeared with a soft little hiss.

"oh no!" said Dave, as he scrambled around

but nowhere near him was the ring to be found

it was lost in the depths of time and space

and right then it needed to get out of that place

For Dave was surrounded by pairs of red eyes

and his suspicion and fear was beginning to rise

he screamed and he shouted, but to no avail

for now his face was beginning to go pale
